If you've got Windows XP, why don't you try Windows Movie Maker?

It's free and it's already there on your system!?

Also, you can do that in MS Power Point which is in your MS Office!

If you don't have MS Office, you can download and install Open Office from SUN Micosystems, the Stanford Univervisty Networks, for free! http://www.openpoffice.com/

If you like to use your computer for creative things (not just your taxes lol) I have some great advice for you - get a Mac! Its iLife suite of applications come preloaded on every computer. The great thing about iLife is that it works so well together. Import photos from your camera into iPhoto. Create slideshow in iMovie. Import movie into iDVD. As simple as that! Only downside - it will set you back more than your $30.

I know the reason, you just burned your photo slideshow as data dvd, so you can play it well on computer but not in DVD player, you have to know most DVD players only recognize standard video dvd well, not data dvd, so you need to use a right software to convert and burn your photo slideshow to a standard video DVD which can be played well in dvd player, if you don't know what software is right, you just need to try RZ DVD Creator, it can directly convert any videos or photos to standard video dvd and burn to any dvd disc(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), the burned standard video DVD can be played well in DVD player. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ DVD Creator, easy to use, hope it can help you.

Microsoft's PhotoStory 3. It won't burn it though. If you have a program that burns .wmv files to DVD, then this is the best program. Photo Story 2 burns them, but doesn't have the best interface.
