No, it is not available for sale yet - they claim they are releasing black in July - I am not holding my breath. There are already a lot of negative aspects to this wayyyy over-advertised "ink".
First, their ink has barely been tested other than the dish.
Second, they have not considered what happens to the skin during tattooing and laser. If they think they will always leave pristine skin once they zap their little microencapsulated pigments, they are sadly mistaken.
I personally think they have been doing this big media blitz far too prematurely.

Its going to end up meaning a lot more stupid tattoos just because its not permanent anymore. And invariably a clients bad choice is blamed on the artist! Like we made them get it or soemthing. Besides that why would an artist want to use an ink that has only limited uses and isnt as versatile as real ink to creat a tattoo that might not be the best quality simply because someone wants a temporary deal.
The lazer ink is very experimental, and infact they aren't planning on releasing colours because theyre not sure it will be popular. Basically how it works is the ink is encapsulated in tiny plastic balls while under your skin, the lazer heats these up until they melt and are taken away by your bodies natural immune system. The components stay inside you, they just get broken down, so in theory you could keep getting more and more and the amount of those chemicals will keep building up. To me that just seems like a recipe for disaster.

Why would you get a tattoo to get it removed. You like spending money twice? Send me 100 bucks I'll write this again. It bothers me that this is real. Who does this appeal to? Some college kid that wants to look cool for spring break? save the money and change your hair color or something. I don't mean to be rude honestly, but a tattoo is a commitment make sure you know what you want.

Chemicals? They are using FDA listed color additives, a lot safer than is in many of our tattoo inks now.
