When I go to dentist's office to get teeth cleaning, I found out that they didn't change or sterilize the tools after service one customer.

Is this normal?

NO NO NO!!!!!! Instruments should be sterilized after every patient. All paper and plastic products should be new. You should report this office to the dental governing body in your country.

Every patient has the right to question the dental professional who is about to provide a service and if you are not comfortable with the answers then get up and walk out and find another office. You also have the right to ask to see the sterilization area and talk to the dentist before you have any procedures done.

LUCY,
ACCORDING THE GOVERNMENT EVERY INSTRUMENT THAT CAN BE HEAT STERILIZED IS OR IF PLASTIC IS THROWN AWAY.IT WOULD VIOLATE EVERY SAFETY AND ETHICAL STANDARD TO USE THE SAME INSTRUMENT ON OTHER PATIENTS W/O FIRST STERILIZING THESE.
ASK THE STAFF EXATCLY HOW THEY STERIZE THEIR INSTRUMENTS. FEEL SAFE ALL IS GOOD.
