Anything Fujitsu Ten Ecipse or Dimond Audio makes will be the best. I had Eclipes 6X9's in my 96Impala SS and they were smooth as silk.

I have had the best luck in 6X9 with Jensen. Most others seem to not have the best sound quality, including brands you would only find in audio specialty stores.

Make sure the magnets are nice and large. I am not a speaker expert, but it always seems to help
