I need to turn a friends with benefits relationship into a real relationship?

A few months ago, I lost my virginity to a male friend of mine. He said he wasn't interested in being in a relationship so I proposed being friends with benefits. So that's whay we've been for about four months now. Now, I really really want to be in a relationship with him though. He knows how I feel, but hasn't proposed anything yet. We don't even date.
