One big problem is writing generallized software that can be easily adapted between languages.

I think Java has done a pretty good job making standard interfaces. You can add jar after jar only knowing the interface. No one has to re write the code. If they want add to it the code source is generally available though places like sourceforge.net. You can join existing groups or write your additions as a new branch to the existing code. Any one can pick up your changes in the branch; all other parts still work.

Within a company you have to stress the development of the application interface (API) first. Make sure it suits your business model and is extensible. From that point forward you only allow people to write "controlers". If they want to write code within the API the have to make the case for the need. If they make the case then the API is extended.

1. If you have tried Shareware/Trial programs
they will not work fully after 10 0r 30 days.
and you are expected to register and buy the software.
For instance a program will check the
problems in your computer but to fix it you have to register
2. Some software programs are fully free.
Download them and save in a seperate folder.
When any program fails reload it.
