I have a sony cyber-shot camera and i uploaded pictures to my laptop, edited them, and now i want to put them back onto my camera. I cant seem to do it. I tried hooking the camera up with the USB and opening the pictures in a file, and copying and pasting the new ones in, but they didnt seem to transfer. What else can i do?

Sounds like you have the steps correct. Copy the picutres back to the camera using Windows Explorer or through My Computer.

Some cameras don't allow this operation, but when that happens the copy or move functions are not available or you won't be able to choose the camera from the list.

The pictures may have been transferred, but some cameras won't display them on their screens if they've been altered, renamed or are not native to the camera.

Try it again then stick the memory card into a card reader (like at Walmart) and see if they come up.
