I've known this guy for almost a year and whenever we talk it's always fun. We're always flirting and we even danced together at our formal, but he likes another girl but she doesn't like him. I want to get closer to him, but I feel like there's this wall there. Guys! What turns you on about girls, what makes you start to notice them more and more?

Attack his senses!
Dress nicely and tell him its for him. Dont try to show him everything. Sexy is a lot about what we cant see.
Find out what perfume he likes on you so you smell great to him. A girl that smells good to me is a HUGE turnon.
Touch him softly in non-sexual areas, like his face and neck. Give him goosebumps. He will be dying for you to touch him more.
Whisper in his ear how good he looks. Hint...do this while you are touching him softly!
Cook him a good meal. This doesnt factor into the same night as the other 4 in my head, but they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

It`s not actually specific things that turn a guy on because what one girl did that turns a guy on won`t promise to have the same effect if you were to do it. It`s all about chemistry. You can be turned on by any little thing when the chemistry is there, It could be that your guy is shy and he`d like to be with you but you guys have done stuff together as just friends for so long he thinks maybe you would only be his friend and so he`s worried about the embarassment that would come just because your friends. Some times maybe the girl has to take the first punch. You never know...I beleive if you feel something and it`s not something trashy only but you believe it to be real, then follow your heart because if you don`t, how will you not know if the man you were going to be happy with for the rest of your days has slipped through your fingers because neither one of you wanted to make the move because of some worry created by the fact that you guys have hung out as just friends for awhile. Guys usually won`t invest their time in a girl unless she is a good friend or he likes her. Otherwise he`d be investing his time in some other girl because single guys want to hang with girls and try to make a love connection.

Initially, it is the physical qualities that turn a guy on. However, once you hang out with a girl, it is how she treats him. If you like this guy and have gone out with him, but he is still interested in this other girl, then chances are he is either more physically attracted to her or he is clicking on a mental level with her more than you. If you really want to snag this guy, I suggest you flirt with him, hang out with him more and try to do activities together that you both enjoy.
A guy really likes a girl who has a lot of common interests and looks good.

You say nothing dirty but often its those devilish little traits that does turn people on. A girl turns me on when she is feminine yet tough and confident, she sticks it to people who are rude to her, she pays me lots of attention, jokes and flirts with me and most of all enjoys the touch of my lips against her skin and let me know it

Dancing is good, Slow Dancing is better. Lots of eye contact, smiling, touching without needing to. Resting your head on his shoulder.

flat abs on a female, not like very defined 6 pack but flat abs on a woman, also she has to be intelligent, cause all the paris hilton wannabes out there just dont cut it
