We consider nothing about homosexuality. Christians follow God's leading on this and all things. Sin is simply doing things apart from the will of God. Homosexuality is apart from the will of God, therefore it is sin. This is not our call.

It's not what the book says, it's who inspired it and sent it to a messenger who wrote it. They say it's wrong.God says its wrong. The people who wrote the book is just delivering the message. It's not the person or people you should be asking this question to. You and I will be held accountable in what we do when we stand before the judgement seat. It is He we will be answering what we do in life too. Personally, I am not afraid of people who may be different than I am. I have friends who are homosexuals but I also have the right to feel that it's wrong. I don't condemned them because it's not my place to. It's just unnatural for a man to have sexual intercourse with another man. It just doesn't seem right at all. or women. Somewhere, in peoples life time, something went wrong. Somebody delivered the wrong message to some people and they turn out the way they are. Sometimes people don't tell you that the things we do or have done is wrong so we continue to live like nothing serious happened. It's when people are confronted with these things is when we have debates. changing one lifestyle to another is hard to do especially when what we have done for all of our lives we only know what we were taught. everybody has a life style. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's the right thing to do. Some are in the homosexual lifestyle maybe because somebody gave them the wrong message. Some may have been traumatized in one way or another so they might feel that what ever they do they will always feel inadequate so they live the way they do. There are many reasons why ''I" or we think it's a sin but to send out the wrong message to you or somebady else will not help you seee our message. I personally can only give you a warning about what you could face in the hereafter but it's up to you to decide what you do with what you hear. Remember this, there are always a consequence to everything we do. Maybe, some of us want to see everyone in heaven. Could that be it? Well, I hope this helps you with your question.

OK, first it is not a book it is the Bible. When a Christian considers something a sin it is because of the Bible, not what we think. We do not just turn around and say hey! Lets call (X) a sin. No, we turn to the inspired word of God for guidance. If God claims something to be sin then that is what it is. Now do not get me wrong all sin is equal and homosexuality is no more or less a sin than any of the others.

But, let us set the Bible aside for a moment and look at why homosexuality is wrong. Aside from pleasure sex is for procreation and homosexuals cannot procreate. Even the beloved Darwin would say it is against the plans of evolution. Homosexual behavior is not found anywhere else in nature. I have heard that is not the case, but in the sources I have found it was not homosexual behavior but rather animals seeking pleasure for pleasure sake.

So, even with out the Bible saying it is a sin nature too says it is wrong.

First of all Homosexuals that have accepted Christ do not go to hell. Homosexuals that act on their temptations and give in to them and decide to just keep giving in are the ones that will go to Hell if GOD DECIDES. God knows their hearts. Their sin is no different than the 40% of men in America addicted to porn or the millions that will one day have an affair or the millions that have sex prior to marriage.

The acts associated with homosexuality is the sin. Every person is born with some sort of "thorn" as Paul called it. But we all have the choice to "deny the flesh" and "take up [our] cross daily".

Because the Bible says it is. As is adultery, pre-marital sex, drug use, being lazy, gluttony and a host of other behaviors. Homosexuality is not a greater sin then any other. So what.
The only sin God cannot forgive is unbelief.

Why do people have trouble accepting this? If you don't like it...don't believe in the Bible! As for me, I refuse to change what the Bible says and water down my beliefs simply to be PC.

The original book said no such thing. In 325AD and then again in 1611 Religious empires corrupted the original verse in Leviticus.
Why? They wanted to grow their empires by propagation.

This is the original verse.

"V’et zachar lo tishkav mishk’vey eeshah toeyvah hee."

(Leviticus 18:22)

(PS: I am not a homosexual, but I am left-handed. And, most people were born righ-handed. Should I feel guilty eating my dinner with my left hand?)

Being a homosexual is not a sin. God is willing to receive anyone who comes to him in faith, and Christians should love and accept others no matter what their background. However, homosexual acts are strictly forbidden. God's plan for natural sexual relationships between a man and a woman is his ideal for creation. Unfortunately, sin distorts the natural use of God's gifts.

Homosexuality is an extremely abnormal behavior and a depravity of the lowest order. That is considered by God to be LAWLESSNESS.....immorality, breaking one of His 10 Commandments and you will reap the consequences............God is a God of order. Within that order there must be functioning active laws to keep that order in place. God set in motion the laws of the universe that are functioning active laws, the laws of Physics. We know that the law of gravity is real because we see it in our everyday lives. If you drop something, it will automatically fall to the ground. God's spiritual laws are functioning active laws also. If you break God's spiritual laws, you will receive an automatic penalty for it. God does not change and neither do His laws. If you break God's laws, they WILL break you!!.....That's why the world is in utter turmoil and on a downward decline of socially and morally unacceptable behavior.....People keep breaking God's laws!!

I love my Homosexual Brothers and Sisters. It deeply saddens me, that in the bible it states that they will not inherit the Kingdom of God. There are many beautiful, moral and good Gay men and Lesbian women that by all means do not deserve to be in Hell.
But, I will not lie about God's word or what is wrote in the bible.

Well the "book" aka the Bible says its an abomination, so that's good enough for me. Why do you think its "normal" for two of the same sex to be sexual? You don't see gay birds, cats, dogs, horses, so why should humans choose to be gay? I'm not "afraid" of someone who is different from me, but I am concerned about their eternal soul.
