Your craving for chocolate is due to the fact that it contains several substances that are addictive. Once you've tasted it, you'll crave for more.
Also, there is a condition called hysteroid dysphoria, characterized by repeated episodes of depressed mood in response to feeling rejected, and a craving for chocolate. I hope your not suffering from such condition.

You are craving it because you love the taste and studies have shown that it produces similar effect as seratonin (a feel good chemical in your brain) If you eat dark chocolate you can benefit from the antioxidants too. So go for it...enjoy!!

It contains caffiene which is addictive. Also it contains a chemical agent that fools your body into producing the same hormones it would produce if you are in love.
