Even thought wat i heard about her and even from all of her friends they all think she is a "guy hopper" or as one calls her a "hoebag". My brother is over it but not 100% yet. I tried to tell him that the first break up the the thoughtst. I told him as simple as i could the first cut is the deepest. is this a good way to explain to him the first gf breakup is the thoughest to swallow.

First break ups are usually the most difficult to handle, some times. It is a tough blow for him, but hopefully he will get over it. Young guys are always so sure that "she" is the right one, and do tend to not listen very well. Give it time, let him experience the loss. You might want to encourage him to seek out other girls, or to put more time into other activities. Let time takes it's effect on him.
Actually he may not truly forget her for some time to come. I know this from personal experience. If she is as you have heard that she is, what does he think of that? Is he interested anyway, in hopes to have her as well, or does it turn him off?

Yeah, that's a good way.

He needs to get over it in his own way.

You can also tell him that thats going to be 1 girl in a whole lifetime of girls. Tell not to sweat it too much, and go have some fun and do stuff like he would normally do with his guy buddies.

Telling him she's a ho-bag is definitely not a good thing to say to him. It will actually mess with his self esteem.

Give him some time, but watch out for signs of depression like if his personality takes on a weird quirk, he obesses over something, his grades drop, or he misses simple appts. If that happens he needs to get some professional help out of his slump.

yes is always is because its his first time dealing with a breakup or finding out that he was not as cared for as he wanted to be and he is upset that he was used. Tell him you love and care about him and that things will get better soon. Take care Heather
