hes one of my closer friends and he has a girlfriend, but she treats him pretty crappy..he always tries to hold my hand or make flirty gestures and i usually pull away or push him away because i feel its cheating on her (three guy friends said almost but its not).i dont wanna continue this because of her..
it makes me sad because ive liked him for three years..am i wasting my time hoping for nothing..?? or should i just go on with life and hide everything..

i've been through this before. stop bugging him. he's got a girlfriend. even though she treats him bad and everything, the fact that he's still with her proves that he actually like her.
he flirts with you just to get his mind off the relationship problem he's been having with his girlfriend. he's not really saying he loves you. in a way, he's sort of using you.
think about it, if he really likes you, he'd dump his girlfriend to be with you. ask him if he's breaking up with her. if he says 'no we're staying together', then it's time for you to move on.

if i were you, i'd let him.... if you like him.... why not FOLLOW those flirty gestures? i mean, she's eventually going to break up with him if she's treating him crappy, so yeah. GO FOR IT GIRL! 3 years, it's been way too long.

ok i think u should tell your friend that u have always liked him. cuz he obviously likes you. If hes trying to hold your hand he must want it to be over with his gf. you should tell him that he should be straight and end things with her by the way things sound thats what he wants anyways. good luck hun
