Yes, we are mammals. Nothing reminds you more of that than giving birth in a natural manner. The interventionist stuff in hosptials isn't as revelatory... But we are designed to make milk. How our milk is somehow nastier than cow, goats, sheep, or even camels, is truly bizzare.
If you can get breast milk in this culture, without depriving a baby of her share, then more power to you. I'd recommend not getting a close relative to do it, because she might get into trouble.
