I definitely think he likes you. Unless he's a player. But you did mention how he was really sweet, so I say go for it!. I'm not trying to be negative, I actually think it's really cute what's going on here, lol, but 8th grade relationships don't really last. First of all, he's going to high school very soon, and he's going to realize he didn't know anything back then. I'm not saying you might not be a cute and nice girl, but he might just find some other girls. And guys always have a wandering eye, so they are very tempted to flirt with a lot of girls at the same time. Even if he's nice and everything. Once kids get to high school, they break up, and they realize they never knew what they wanted. And even in high school, they STILL don't know what they want. Trust me. I see people breaking up all the time. I think you SHOULD email him, but tell him that you'd rather spend more time getting to know him and wait till high school to see what happens. Besides, you might end up liking another guy, too! :]

I can tell you this... not every relationship last BUT i know a couple who started off a little like you but they were in 7th grade.... he took the chance and asked her out... finally after a year (when they were in the eighth grade) she said yes... Not long after her family moved out of state and they were force to have a long distance relationship... they last throughout their high school years and about a year and a half into college they decided that they cant take the long distance no more and got married.... now after 12 years together, they still love eachother very much..... so to answer your question... anything is possible IF both partner are willing to make it last.... good luck

Yes I can confidently say he likes you. Be a little coy and let him send the first email then answer him back. It's about time he asked you to go out with him so be sweet and he will soon.

I don't think so trust me after you graduate from middle school and enter high school everything changes so I don't think it lasts but I might be wrong if the guy you are with really loves you than yeah It may last even in High school.

I'd say he likes you, and he's probably waiting by his computer to get an email from you... just email him and see what happens. You can definitely stay friends with him, but an actual relationship in 8th grade hardly ever lasts.. I'm still friends with my "boyfriends" from 8th grade and I'm 22, so you can definitely be friends with them... but most likely not romantically..

No. Reason why is because people want satisfaction. Guy wants sex, Girl wants materials and money. Also people don't really know what they want. That guy might be looking at you.... But he also might be trying to make himself cross-eyed by looking at another girl. It's a nice question though.
