While I'm only 23, my lifestyle, namely my 56 hour high stress workweek on 'D' Street in Washington, DC, has lead me to go prematurely grey and develop wrinkles that make my appear to be in my 40's.
This has kept me alone due to the fact that I apparently appear to be a "dirty old man" when I attempt to ask out girls who are actually my age, and am usually revealed to be 'too young' when I attempt to court women who are in their thirties and forties.

I will be 40 in a couple of months, and yes I am single. I live my life just the way I always live it, I do not deliberately look, I believe it will happen when the time is right and let the hopeful and unexpected wonderful things happen as they will eventually without worrying about it. Take care Heather

I was married at 28 and divorced at 34. She did not want to support my business but loved the vacations and horse lessions.
Had a girlfriend at 43 who loved to go out and spend money. I went bankrupt. She went back to her estranged husband after 2 years. I spent major money to make sure her kids had a great Christmas. My last girlfriend, who took me to jewlery store to pick out the ring she wanted. I told her I could not afford it. No prblem, I could make installment payments. This is on the forth date. My lease was up in my place. She went shopping and found a great place. Great you can help out with a job. No I'm not going to work. I am now 54 with 2 years of credit card debit.
Yes I am single and very disillusioned. I hope that I can find a woman who doesn't need a guy for his money.

35 here yes it does become harder the older you get. Most at this age have 2 or 3 kids I have none. Most friends at this stage are in relationships. Harder to find people to hand out with and just go to bars and such. Most people Im finding that are single are the undesirables ones if you know what iam saying. Still I know people that just settle for the whatever they could find...
