with all that murder, incest, rape, and animal sacrifce?
It's definitely an "x" rated book.
I don't think young children should be able to read it without an adult. All bibles should come with warning labels.

hmm.. i guess it depends on how will it be portrayed..
the reennactment of the life of JEsus itself has several rating as to how brutal the writers/ producers/ or directors want the lashes to be filmed..
it depends on them
but i suggest they make it realistic yet for all ages.. =)

Let's see. There is sex, alcohol, death, war, murder, slavery, and troublesome images - I'd have to say R-17.
