Islamic civilisation and western civilisation and outcomes?

I am working on a project on Islamic civilisation and western civilisation and their outcomes (good and bad ones). I hv searched through out the web but cannot find anything i want. Anybody out there who knows something or hav any info on the websites please help me. Thanks!

Islamic civilization is meant to co-exist in a mutual relationship with western civilization. Islamic civilzation is meant to accept western civilization for what it is.

But unfortunately, a lot of radical and extremist Muslims out there in many parts of the word want to put the western civilization to an end as we know it because they believe that it leads to corruption.

It sounds like an interesting project.

When analyzing western and islamic civilizations it is important to keep in mind that the two were separated by culture, geography and most significant the European Renaissance which made way for the Enlightenment. The islamic civilization and the western civilizations both had their respective golden ages, and their dark ages.

Your project sounds broad maybe too broad. Perhaps you can take a certain aspect of both civilizations.

Hope your project comes out a success.

Some other factors that have influenced both civilizations: Crusades, colonialism, muslim conquests into europe, sharia law vs. cannon law respectively.

ok ignoring the stereotypical view of islam if you look at the historical civilization and the changes it brought, you can see it was really a religion of reforms.
Its ironic that islam is seen as a religion that oppresses women when before islam women had next to no rights.
Before, the custom had been to only give an inheritance to your sons and not daughters. Islam changed that so you had to give a portion to your daughter also.
Baby girls were murdered when born and Islam stopped this cruel practice.
Also, Muslim women became leaders. An example is Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (pbuh). she led an army of men during war.

Besides improving women rights, islam improved the rights of slaves. Slavery was a very old practice and it was impossible to end it immediately. What the Prophet (pbuh) did was try to make the change gradual by giving slaves more rights. The Prophet (pbuh) told muslims to treat slaves as their brothers.

Islamic civilisation will meet the condition of society :
1)strong morale
2)more tolerance to other religion followers and no rasist
3)more respect to women
4)very limited adultery or fornification
5)more safe because islamic teaching applies capital punishment and cross cutting hands and legs and also stone throwing
6)very very limited freesex and live together without formal marriage
7)women clothes covered their privy
8)old parents are maintained /cared by their own sons/daughters
9)very very limited drunk persons because alcoholic drink is not allowed
10)no formal gambling site so gambler are very limited
Western civilisation will the modern society :
1)weak morale and not so religious
2)not so tolerance to other religion followers and other races,because most of them are racists
3)women not so respected
4)adultery and free sex and live together without formal marriage will grow fastly
5)unsafe because there are many oppresions,rappists,thiefts, echeaters,gamblers ,killers,liars etc
6)there are many old parents unmaintained/uncared by their own sons/daughters and let them in the institution of the old age persons care
7)women clothes are not full covered so men can see their privy
8)many formal gambling sites which full of gamblers
9) drunk men/women are accustomed
