Please give me a detailed explanation/ interpretations, not just "because the Bible says so!"
Personally, I don't think homosexuality is a sin at all.

Well, in the Bible it has been described as obscene.
The whole of Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed because of this conduct.
Yet the Bible also says that there were those who had once practiced this conduct and stopped.

Bible definitions:
Adultery is defined as any sex outside marriage, even sex in your mind (see where Jesus says "If you even look at another woman with lust in your heart...")
Marriage is defined as one man and one woman.
Sodomy is physically damaging and very harmful. (search Wikipedia for "rectal cancer.")
Hence, Homosexuality is Adultery.
We are all sinners. We should hate NO ONE, and love all. Anyone who advocates violence or discrimination against anyone does NOT have the heart of the Lord in him/her.
