"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; But of power and of love and of a sound mind", The word fear covers a lot of territory. The opposite of fear would be trust wouldn't it? Fear is also worry and since God has not given it to us it must be from Satan to keep us down and cause us to not meet our full potential. I use to overeat because I was afraid I wouldn't get enough nutrition. Once I understood this verse I no longer worried about it. Sure took a burden off. The good thing about being a Christian is knowing that I will never have to walk alone. Good wishes to you. Mmm

I can help you. I used to worry about everything too. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and used to have major panic attacks. I'd be happy to help you in any way I can. Just let me know what you need.
By the way, what do you worry about?

I agree Absolutely. When I was a child my Father told me this: Son, Worry and Prayer have a lot in Common. If you Worry about it Long enough; it will Happen. In psychological terms that is called a "Self_Fulfiling Prophecy.

I do, I have the same problem, but than I think what will all this worry do, will it solve the problem, no, than why worry, there is no point to it, worrying does nothing but stresses you out

Worry is a total was of time.
A good friend of mine has a saying that is somewhat in the reverse.
He often says, "Why should I leave it with the Lord when I can worry about it myself."

I see several answers here based on scripture. Philosophy is not the answer. Reality based solutions solve problems and end worries. What support do you look for?

If you are a christian, you might want to read and remember Luke 12:22. Jesus tells us not to worry about what to eat or wear because he knows our needs. We just need to ask as Jesus taught us to pray, "Give us this day our daily bread".

I'd have to agree with you, take everything one at atime, don't stress, don't fret just pace yourself and enjoy what life has to offer, one day at a time.

I completely agree, it solves nothing. It creates health problems.
The Bible says to "cast your cares on the Lord" and not to worry. That God is in control, we aren't, it's that simple. So, just put your faith in God, He has good in store for you.
