Yes... I am a girl but I feel like I am turning into my dad. I am a neat freak and get mildly stressed when things are in disarray, I hate being late, and I hate how my little brother and sister walk all over my stepmom. Sometimes I catch myself and have to stop what I'm doing and tell my self "stop acting like dad."
On the other hand I think I have also inherited his manners... that is a plus.

Great Question! I feel like I am turning into my mother more and more every day:) The one thing I have noticed lately is that I say really goofy things. It's like I'm trying to say something funny, and it comes out all wrong lol. I used to hate it when my mom would do that in front of my friends growing up. Now, I'm starting to do it too! It's a little annoying, but hey, it's genetics:)

Thank goodness Diane extra some sanity to those solutions. Are human beings in this united states of america incredibly this ignorant?!? Mike, you're entering into puberty, and your hormone tiers are swinging wildly. The lumps are non everlasting. in the event that they have not diminished interior the subsequent 6-3 hundred and sixty 5 days, tell your well-being care provider or mom and father. Many boys journey this at your age.

Ever notice you just can't stop it? I am my mothers daughter. Didn't grow up with a dad. I am giving, sweetest person I want to be, but can be just out right my mom. Only difference is I refuse to let life go by without that special someone involved. Yet my childrens father refuses us just like my father did.

Firstly, I don't think that little dig at so-called "emo freaks" was really necessary. Secondly, even though I'm a woman, I'm turning into my dad. I'd rather be like him than like my mum.

Yes. When my father was younger he seemed less worldly, less comfortable. He made mistakes. As I became an adult I understood him more and, I do admit he lost some hair and what was left went grey, but he became wiser and wiser and wiser until I thought he would pop!
Sure enough! Same things happening to me!
Aren't I a lucky boy?
May a universal guardian watch over all of us tonight!

I moved out a little while ago. I thought I took after my mom (who is sweet and caring), but I take after my dad's personality.
I overreact, am critical, short-tempered, and a lot of other ugly traits. But I always considered him a good role model. since he is very clever.

i feel ya pal. i don't want to grow up to be like my mom!!! i'm sure that there are statistics, and other things that associate "kin," genes play a part in the equation... i believe it's all in how you (as being the person you are) take things, and react to things. it's not about how your parents seen it. each of us has our own personality... but who we grow up around, and who we associate our lives with day in and day out, has alot to do with the way we respond to things. your parents were your best role models... didnt you wanna grow up to be just like them?? what about tony hawk?? lol hope it helps a little.... good luck
my mom likes to dwell on things, and stress over anything. i try to do the opposite. i keep my cool, and handle things in a smooth fashion. ha ha i am nothing like my mother. phew!

I have tried so hard to NOT be like my mom, that I have turned out just like my dad.
Short tempered...bitter...angry...
It's scary how that happens, but I see myself in my daughter all over again too, and I keep trying to make her better.
