I used to live in a neighborhood where i was friends with everybody, everybody knew me. i spent 95% of the time outside and would only go home to sleep. I had friends everywhere.

About 4 years ago i moved from that neighborhood and everythings been going down hill. It seems i took everything for granted. I cant make any freinds anymore and ive been going through things i've never thought i'de go through. I like this girl but i dont have the confidence to talk to her.

Now where im living the roles mostly changed, im in my house 95% of the time and hardly never outside. i dont want to turn into a lazy guy with no social skills............What do i do?

When you move from a comfortable place to some where new, you go through some trauma and can lose your confidence. I think that is what has happened.

What you need to do is get outside and begin to just hang around and see if people come by to talk. If not, then you can start with just one person. Build up your confidence again, build your support system again with making friends. You need to let people know you are a good person by your actions and attitudes. That way, you can attract people to you.

Just talk to that girl like a friend, which is how you should approach any relationship with the opposite sex. Get to know who she is and value that, then maybe something more will happen when she sees you are a good guy. Hang in there, it will get better.
