What are your pet peeves against these groups of people?

Just curious about what exactly irritates you about religious people, atheists or agnostics - and why.

religious people - think they know all the answers and that only their answers are right

agnostics - the only pet peeve I have with some agnostics is that some are unwilling to even bother to study about the various religions. The ones that do and still remain agnostic I admire because atleast they didn't just sit back and say that they don't know what to believe without checking things out first. They looked, they studied...some even tried practicing the religion...and in the end they came to the same conclusion and chose to remain agnostic. I always admire that in everyone. The same goes with religious people and atheists......if they have studied, looked, and even maybe tried practicing other religions...and still came to the same conclusion that they are whatever religion they practice or still an atheist then admire that. If they have not yet bothered and have now decided that they are the only right ones, then I have no respect for that.

I guess in religious people, even though their belief systems require an open mind to comprehend, some of them are very close minded to the challenges other religions impose on theirs.

Some athiests can come across as arrogant and condecending to people who embrace spirituality. Very close minded all around. For some people it's just a phase, and that's extemely annoying. I think very few athiests actually die as athiests. But then again, I could be wrong.

I don't have to many qualms with agnositics. The inability to make a decision and commit to a certain belief isn't technically a downfall in spirituality. They are open to suggestion, and that can be an asset.

I don't have any pet peeves...wait, I guess I do.
I hate it when non-Christians:
Generalize Christians. (I am not inbred, not from the south, I don't hate anyone, I don't tell people they're going to hell, and I'm not brainwashed!)
Ask questions to which they don't want a real answer. (Question: "How do you know God exists?" BA, chosen by asker: "There is no god. Those Christians are morons.")

I guess those are the two main things that make me angry. For the record, some religious people annoy me too, like when they try SO HARD to convert everyone. I don't think anyone can be converted by force. Christians should LOVE people to the Lord, not threaten them with fire and brimstone.

Religious people: the proselytizing. If you want to follow a religion good for you, but keep it away from me.
Atheists: the smugness. Seriously, just stop it all of you.
Agnostics: the indecision. Quit straddling the fence. Either use your brain and stop holding out the possibility of their being a higher power or use your heart and believe in one, but you can't do both at the same time.

And I know that not everyone in these groups fits those stereotypes.

The thing I can't stand about Atheists or Christians is that they both think they have the irrefutable proof that they are right and that the other side is so horribly wrong. People of other religions, or agnostics for that matter, are fine.

religious people annoy me because there are so many of them, and they are all open about their beliefs. and everything has to with church, like they have functions at church and special parties at church and it's like there's nothing else. also that they think they're right and won't listen to other people.

atheists annoy me because they go out of their way to annoy religious people, or anyone really, and they think they're better than anyone because they have found what they believe to be "the truth". They can't face that there is no truth, theirs is just a different kind of belief.

agnostics don't particularly annoy me because a) I'm not really sure what the definition of agnostic is and b) I haven't met any to tell. I think they aren't decided and have decided not to know, so I guess I'm one of them?

On the surface, nothing. I get irritated when any one of the groups you mentioned starts to prejudge another one of the groups without first doing research. If someone has sound evidence and seems to have educated himself/herself before making a statement, it's fair and I have no problem with that......until then, go read a book...better yet, read a few books.

Each group seems to regurgitate jargon that the latest “superstar” of their cause recently said. I have found very few Christians or Atheists who were true free thinkers.

Anyone who insists on peddling their philosophies, religions, politics, music, drug addictions, or nationalistic beliefs without being asked.

If I want your opinion, I will ask. If you get in my face you will get the normally expected response from a man who is 6'7" and weighs 325. I never killed anyone who didn't deserve it.

dont mind atheists. agnostics need to make up their minds and ohhhhhhh i dont like people who come to my door or bother me in the street esp when i tell them that i already have religion. im pagan.( i dont tell them that though in case they start screaming obscenities and trying to lynch me!) christians annoy me the most. esp born agains ..all that you are going to hell crap. i dont believe in hell or their god or devil. me thinks everyone should find their own path. and all you agnostics..kidding people..easy now
