My son is 12 weeks old and I am about to kick is fathers's butt.
He still hangs out way too much with his friends and his attitude sucks. I can hardly get a shower or a nap! When he gets off works he hangs with them. On his off days he hangs with them. I know that guys need to have thier friendships and that's cool, but I need some "ME" time. We are not teens and we're both out of college, so one would think he has sense enough to know better! Never ***-U-ME! We have been 2gether awhile, so I'm not some new chick. I considered moving back home (200 miles away), but I didn't want to keep his son away from him. The possibility is still open. Any Advice on how to deal with this situation?! Betcha can't guess where he is now?! U got it!

Most men don't have a clue to how hard it is to take care of an infant and some are even a little jealous because the world no longer revolves around them.

Have you talked to him about it? If not, it is time to. If you have and he is not taking it to hear, if he is close to his Mom or Dad, talk to her about it and see if she will have a chat with him about being a man with a family and responsibilities now.

If he still refuses, work out that the baby stays with a sitter that you both agree on for a certain number of hours a week...if he doesn't you may need to go back to work so you can pay for time to yourself.
