when you say "he looks at me alot' it means one of two things, 1) you have something mega gross on your face, or 2) he's trying what i like to call 'eye flirting' if he's not wearing a disgusted expression, he probably likes you. but doesn't know how to tell you. i say ask his mates, subtly. if they won't tell you anything and you're still interested in him MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!!! if it doesn't work out, there are other fish in the sea

Probably. Guys can be shy. If he doesn't talk to you then why don't you go talk to him and see what happens. If it works great. If it doesn't then at least you found the answer to your question.

eye contact says it all. If he's looking at you more than any person normally should that tells you everything you need to know.
