For the same reason they don't get sick cleaning their own. Their entire digestive system from tongue to butt is designed to deal with feces, urine and what not. They don't just clean their kittens, they eat their poop too, to keep the place clean and not attract predators.

How previous is he? is this a common difficulty for him or is it extraordinary? Can he urinate? Is he appearing painful in any respect? If he's spending an unusual quantity of time down there, or acts painful, isn't able to pee, or gets the section aggravated, he needs to flow to the vet. If the faster questions are a confident answer, he could be blocked, or interior the least, have a UTI.

They have a sort of immunity to it. And their saliva also breaks down the germs and bacterias. You could google it and ask a vet though for sure. But this is my own opinion.

I know that this is kind of gross, but the reason is that when the kittens are young, they drink their mothers milk; so what she cleans up is from her own body so it is not gross to her, it is natural.

Cats and Dogs have saliva that kill bacteria. That's why they're mouths are so much cleaner than ours are.

eww now i am getting sick. i suppose maybe they have different taste receptors in their brains. cats eat whole mice and rats. so i guess a little poopie is nothing to them.
