I think it's wonderful that gay rights and gay marriage are getting some recognition. Bravo to Yahoo! for not succumbing to the right wing, religious factions who want to destroy something as beautiful as love between two people.

My cousin and her partner were married last year. The state won't recognize it, but they are an amazing couple. The ceremony was heartwarming and lovely. A lot of my family boycotted the ceremony because of their "beliefs" and all that did was hurt them.

Celebrate love. Celebrate diversity. Celebrate pride.

Matthew 19
3 The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?"
4 And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,
5 "and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?
6 "So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."

It made me feel very sad that 2 consenting adults who love each other cannot get married. You can see the love and joy in their faces. Why can't society just let them be happy?
