well he always talks to me and then he stepped on my foot then in pe he talked to me and we instant messenge for like 2 hours and i asked him if he liked me and he said as a friend

If he said he likes you as a friend, then take it as that and don't read too much into it. He could still like you as more, but I don't think assuming he's a liar is a good way to start a relationship... So, just assume he means "as a friend" seriously and be his friend. Maybe more will come of it down the road.

He made it clear, as a friend. If you like him dont show to much interest it might be a turn off for him, he might want a challlenge. Act as if he is not the one, and maybe later he might want to be all up on you, running game on you. To be honest w/you dont waste your time not unless u got time to waste on stupid games...

he is telling the truth that he likes you as a friend. just keep being his friend and if he sees your cool you might be more. right now it's probably to early for either of you to know if you like each other yet.

I think that he was just trying to get to know you as a friend. Don't constantly try to be more. He wants to get to know you and be friends right now. Give it some time...ok a lot of time. Hang out and get to know him. good luck.:)

if he said as a friend he probably means it that way. If he was blushing or couldn't look you in the eye then he likes you. if you did it online then definitely take it as you are just friends.

look, no offence, but seriously, what possible reason could he have for lying to you if he liked you/ it was his chance to admit he liked you when you asked him. but then again, if he does like you what is he hiding? why does he have to lie? in my opinion, he's not worth the trouble if he cant tell you exactly how he feels, sorry, you had to hear that.
