How can u connect the 9 dots with 4 straight lines? U may not lift your pencil off the paper.?

Go outside the "square" formed by the dots. It's hard to explain it more clearly without a picture. Draw a long vertical line on the left side through 1, 4, 7. Then draw a diagonal up through dots 8, 6. Turn this line to the left and go through 3, 2, 1. Finally, draw diagonally through 1, 5, 9.
