It's also called bubble tea. It's a drink that originates from Taiwan...usually a sweet drink with large, chewy tapioca pearls. It comes in a cup with a wide straw so you don't need a spoon for the tapioca.

The drink part has many variations. It can be a tea, a fruit slushie, or fruit juice. It's usually cold, but there are also hot variations.

It's an asian-like smoothie. My friend's mom owned a Bubble tea cafe. Man I miss those drinks. They are so good. The straws are extra big so the tapioca's could get through because they are pretty big sized.
