When I first saw this question, I thought to myself "YOWZA! A Black cosmotheist!" But, no, it was too strange to be true, after all. The idea behind cosmotheism is a steady improvement of the human type, biological improvement, primarily through eugenics, taking the highest human material extant, culling away its defects, and concentrating its virtues, so that a higher race of man than has ever walked Earth before appears.
Eugenics is intelligently directed selection, with the traits selected being those that offer advantages almost all environments. Strong is better than weak. Dextrous is better than clumsy. Smart is better than stupid. In almost any environment.
The "superman" isn't god. He's only the next step on the way to god. But it is a step that humans appear reluctant to take because there's all this "fairness and equality" baggage slowing us down. That's why it would have been remarkable to have found a Black cosmotheist, and it's why I'm not surprised that I haven't really found one.

Don't try to put your beliefs in a box. Nobody (no matter if they think they do or not) Knows for sure who or what God is. I believe that it's your belief and spirituality that matter not what religion you try to fit it in. I have had many theories over the years and I don't know if there's one or two or many. I do know that He/She/They have many names and faces in many different cultures and affect our lives by influencing our choices rather than dictating every move made in our lives. May I also reply to some of the other comments...evolution is a proven fact...there is EVIDENCE of this. Just because the bible says something does not make it so...it was written by many men and is their interpretation of the truth which can be interpreted in many different ways. How can anyone think that a good person who lives their life in love and charity will go to Hell simply because they do not share a similar belief???

Yeah, that's interesting. Most critical thought on the god question tends to suggest that everything evolves, you don't get something as highly evolved as a creator of all things instantly. Something like that must have come into being over a long period of time. That god evolved.
Maybe all living things are echoes of a god-like thought to become self aware -- to refine to perfection through evolution something as complex and amazing as an eye.
As to what are you? You are a self-ware assembly of complex chemical processes and organic molecules asking this rather interesting question. I think it was the philosopher Nietzsche that said if god didn't exist it would be necessary to invent him.
As for me, I would disagree with that. I think we think too much of ourselves and we have a pretty poor imagination when it comes to "god." We really do. Like about 2,000 years out of date.

I believe there is a God, because he blesses me everyday, so I don't believe in evolution, but here is a question for you: what is the difference between evolution and adaptation?? there are differences between these two, but they are pretty close to being the same thing.

It's probably a natural consequence, but I really don't see how it moved us further as a species. In fact, I can think of many times it held us back.

here you go...
i just wrote a paper for school
there is no bull ish about evolution
creation is the only resonable way things happened
evolutoin says stuff about irriducible complexity
in other words the animals developed parts that they needed when they needed them
thats not correct
cuz the woodpecked has a cushion between his forhead and brain to absorb all the shock from pecking
he had to have had that part in his body when he was born...not developed it when he realized i need this or else i will go home with a head ache
how about the beaver
he has seethrough eyelids to see in water without opening his eyes...did he try to see in water and it hurt his eyes to he decided to develop seethrough eyelids? NO God created him that way from the beginning.
convinced?

God is good. Evolution is something made up by Charles Darwin. Yeah, Charles Darwin was a scientist, but scientist aren't always right!

It's an interesting belief.
It isn't true for me....
I have no idea what it makes you...other then someone who has some interesting thoughts.
I tend to have a more Marxist view on religion.....people need it to control their environments...particularly fear of death.

Read "Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast." It talks about how belief in things such as angels, luck, and telepathy actually assisted in our creation of tools (the original technology).
