This may be hard for you to swallow for these is no perfect answer. The fact is the only way you can get anybody to like you for yourself is to be yourself. ...I know, I know it sounds lame but think like this: you dont want to make somebody like you because it will be short lived meaning it wont last. plus some people will never get a chance to like you because they are to narrow minded. Depending on your age at adolescence you know how there are clicks and stuff, and if you dont fit the criteria of the group you dont fit in. now thats lame. that fades though with age. So to completly answer the question, you have to give the guy time to be around you first if he is willing. and dont force anything, it will only hurt you in the end. remember it sucks but time tells all.

Just be yourself and don't try to play yourself up, people can read through all of that and they will like you more for being you. #2 Let them know you are interested in him/her and ask if you two can grab a bite to eat or check out a movie sometime, this is a way to kinda feel it out to see if he/she has any interest in you. Even if he/she is shy they will accept. #3 Just have fun and enjoy a friendship and maybe it will turn into something beautiful.

well just be yourself boys like girls that are themselfves because if you be all cool and stuff when u ask them out or somthing
later if your his GF he might not like you so just beyourself
