I would think that a 17 year old would know better. But the fact that you ended your question with, "am I pretty enough" basically answers my question. Anyway, no matter what you look like, your 32 year old teacher is going to lose his job, or worse, be thrown in jail, if he's found speaking objectionably with his 17 year old student.
Get over him now, because his job and his freedom means more to him than a minor. Go run along and play with boys your own age!

It's definately not because you're not pretty enough. 90% of the population won't ignore someone just because of their looks.
First of all, it's an ethical no-no for a teacher to have a relationship with one of their students. Secondly, it may be awkward with you being under 18.
Plus, are you sure he's not married or not seeing someone?
Your best bet is to wait a year or two and go see him after you have finished his class.

It has nothing to do with your looks. He was probably flattered.
However, it would be unethical-to say the least-for him to text you back, no matter how much he would have wanted to. Imagine what your mom or dad would say if they found out he did?
He could lose his career, be sued, the school could be sued, he could lose his family and the respect of his peers and he could even go to jail. It's simply not worth the risk to pursue any type of involvement with you outside of your student/teacher relationship.
Oh, and did I mention it would be unethical for him to have any type of social/romantic involvement with his 17 year-old student?

No, it's because if he calls you back he could lose his job, get sued, see the end of his career as a teacher, and possibly go to jail. This is not gonna happen honey, it's time to move along to your next crush.

Honey, the reason you didn't hear back is because he is too old, he could go to jail for any relationship with you other than a strict teacher student relationship!

it has nothing to do with your looks. It is illegal for him to act on any feelings. Also he most likely thinks of you only as a student and never will anything else try people 17-20 okay.

If he had texted you back then some parents might consider that sexual harassment or something and he might get a lawsuit. Very few teachers want a lawsuit.

he doesnt want to get in trouble. your jail bait, when your over 18 AND out of the school, then if he is still interested he will call, or at least return your call. I've been there and he and I still talk and even got together. BUT you have to be of age, and out of high school.
