What was the "Car of Tomorrow" in Nascar?

The COT is nothing else but a revised season 2006 car. Many aspect of the car concept have been revised and changed such as the aerodynamics, the rear spoiler, the front and side skirt, the rolling bars the chassis position etc.
The role of the COT is to make the car perform better while being safer. It is innovation in the racing car industry that happens every few years. Nascar is constantly working to improve the performance of the cars while banking essentially on its safety and the safety of the drivers.

Two answers. One it is a complete redesign, on NASCAR's road away from stock car racing, of the cars. It replaces the rear spoiler with a rear wing and completely changes the front end to a wing like configuration. Esantially a merging of open wheel racing style body elements to the traditional stock car body.

Answer two, it's Brian France's new idea for an advertising gimmick. Designed to hopefully bring more young viewers, more international viewers, more open-wheel fan viewers to an already popular sport which needs no new advertising gimmicks to succeed.

It will make the racing better. I cannot explain everything in detail as to how good the car of tomorrow actually is, it would take me 3 days to type that out...

But in a nutshell it's basically the cars with a rear wing added on and the front of the car is redesigned to give the cars better traction when racing each other. There are millions of other things to list but as I said, it would take too long.

The car of tomorow is basically the same car only it has a spoiler like you would see on a tuner car and it has a different front valence. I would like it if it had the regular spoiler. It might be faster though. I heard that Kurt was racing a larger restrictor plate. Should be interesting to see how that unfolds.

it an over hyped butt ugly car that might end up saving lives and save teams money but is the ugliest thing i hav ever seen and the front spliter looks like it wil fly off if you tap some one and it has a wing not a spolier like the cars that are being used right now do.
