Don't know what it might be. Oh, by the way, 5 beers IS a lot. If you have been drinking more than that, then you have been drinking a real whole lot!. If you are on medication for hypothyroidism, then the beer can interact with it or any other medication you may be taking. Beer can dehydrate you. If you drink on an empty stomach, go to bed, you may not have drank enough for a hang over, but some of those same symptoms can occur because of the dehydration. Don't know how old you are. But those symptoms can also accompany a TIA. TIA are initials for a condition that means "mini stroke". This is never a good sign. A person can have a stroke at any age. Generally anywhere from 40 years old and up. Seldom less than that unless there are other problems going on. If it were me, I would watch my drinking, I would eat a little something when I get up if possible. The nausea came from the light headedness, or dizziness. If this should happen again, I would see the doctor and describe it all to him. Good luck I am an RN

Many things can cause this that is why you need a Dr. and ASAP. You could have high or low blood pressure, anemia, low blood sugar or high, it can be soooo many things. your electrolytes may be off, low potassium or sodium. You need to go to the Dr. Go.

Get your blood sugar levels and blood pressure checked. Likely one of these culprits...without knowing any additional detail about your symptoms.
