How arrogant you sound. The only thing God can't forgive is unbelief. In fact, why would someone who has rejected God even want to be in His heaven and His presence and praise Him anyway? But, I digress....
I am a Christian. I know what my faith teaches. I also know this: God is perfect. He cannot make a wrong decision because He has all the facts about everyone. Because of this, I do not concern myself with what other people believe unless they are misinformed regarding Christian beliefs. God can be trusted to make the right decisions.
Please suspend your own disbelief in God and look at this from a believer's perspective:
As for praising Him....have you ever been to the grand canyon? I have and most people who have; talk about how amazing it is, how it simply draws your attention. The ohh and ahh! over it. Even if you're driving around the canyon your eyes are constantly looking at this hole in the ground. You can't help yourself!! And it's just a hold in the ground!! Now, imagine what we'll be like when we stand in the presence of the being that caused that hole to be created. Some people go crazy or can't even put a sentence together when they meet their favorite actor or singer and they are nobody special...just a fellow human!
Believers do not think of God as simply another glorified human being with human faults and a human perspective. We think of Him as GOD!

Yes, He cares. No, He's not petty. But He is God, and you should fear Him.
Why would God reward idolatry? He says that His name is Jealous. As it is written: "For you shall worship no other god. For Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God..." (Exodus 34:14)
And
"You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot eat at the table of the Lord and at the table of demons. Are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than he is, are we?" (I Corinthians 10:21-22)
It doesn't matter if a person of another religion is sincere in their belief. A person can be sincerely wrong. And the consequences are eternal.
It is not Christians who came up with this idea, it was Jesus our Lord. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
He is not A way, He is THE way. And if He wasn't, then He lied or was deluded beyond belief. Further, if there was another way, He died on a cross for nothing.

First, Buddhists do not believe in any deity, much less God.
Second, God is the God of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. They all have a common ancester, Abraham. While He may go by a different name to each (YHWY, God, and Allah), He is still the same God.
And to the last part, I would not call God "petty." "Jealous" is a better term, though, as God refers to Himself as such in the book of Leviticus.

The Jews (for the most part) rejected Jesus and his teachings.
Yes, a hard lesson learned for the Jews, because God rejected them.
Jehovah's Witnesses, the True Christians, have the Truth.

Raymond, imagine this- you are with your wife/girlfriend, and she turns to you, and says, Fred..... Will it matter to you if she gets your name wrong? If she calls you by your neighbors name as she plants a kiss on your forehead?
Does Coca Cola care whether people ask for a coke and get a pepsi instead? Of course they do. They hire people just to go around asking for cokes to see if they will be given a pepsi so that they can sue. Why? Because their name is important!
God is real, He has gone through a lot of trouble to establish His name, to make His name known, He has gone through a lot of trouble to keep His word preserved, by golly, I think He is going to get really ticked off about His name usage.
If you are going to praise God, I think you'd probably better make sure you get His name right.
If you think that is petty, try calling your wife/girlfriend by the wrong name next time you kiss her, then tell her she is being petty. She'll smack you into next week. And you think God, the Creator of the Universe, will care any less about His Name?

Are you perfect, without sin? If so then you can go to God and worship Him. However, if you have been born into this world as a human being and then gone on and committed one sin then my best suggestion is to Accept Christ as Savior. It has nothing to do with God being petty, it has to do with the sinfulness of man.

Jesus said that He was the only way to eternal life (in Heaven). If you believe the words of Jesus, then you have to believe this statement. If you disbelieve him, then there would be little reason for you to follow him.
Muslims do not believe Jesus was crucified or raised from the dead. This belief invalidates the entire purpose of the ministry of Jesus and shows Islam to be a false religion.
Budda is still dead and in the grave.
God is not that petty. He has given you a roadmap to follow. Whether you chose to follow it or not is your decision and He will let you make it without forcing you. However, the rejection of Jesus comes with a price.

Yes it matters. Praise is the outpouring of affection we have for God, not something He needs. God is not petty.

That IS the question, isn't it? I don't think it matters. I think what matters is that you are staying true to what God wants you to be, and wants you to do. I think if you are close enough with God to feel that you can really say you're on the right path, then whatever religion you are or aren't is working out perfectly.

God does not care about or for religion. So it matters not if you call yourself a Jew, Muslim, Christian, or whatever. He sent His Son to die in your place for your sins, and to redeem you if you'll accept Him.
If you decide NOT to accept Him, it still matters not what you call yourself - you will not go to heaven.
