7 year old: pigeon coos (or similar)(hence we called her FREAK)
3 year old: meep, meep (thats what it sound like, if it can be spelled)
kitten: MerrrA MrerrA (same as above)
AND these ARE their Meows so to speak, NOT their purrs so don't bother going there!
THANK GOoDness the DOG BARKS!
What do you think about this circus? They were all adopted as strays. TRAUMA? LOL
I mean REALLY? My horses whinnied/neighed, cows mooed, pigs oink, chickens clucked (when I had any of them)
I hated to waste the meager points, but listening to them all tonight....too LOL

This was a LOL question.
We adopted so certainly we didn't need reminding on the: Individuality, or just LOVE them aspect.
Mightyquinn and then Mandy being FREAKED (LOL), Radiant for her tobacco sounding cat.
THANK YOU ALL
That subserviant:
I just open the cat food was the clincher.
THANKS

One of our cats actually snarls affectionately, so yours aren't so weird. It's funny, he'll purr, then snarl, and if it's a guest petting him, they freak. One of our other cats is mute, doesn't even purr worth a damn. Another hasn't developed a meow yet, still mews like a baby. He's at least 10months old, and I hope full grown. May be part ragdoll, dunno, duncare. Big cat, though. Squeeks if you touch him when he's not expecting it. Our last, and oldest cat, is the loudest freaking house cat you've ever heard. She doesn't meow, she has a toned down version of a roar. For an average sized cat, it's weird, and no, she is not exotic as far as we know. Just a stray we picked up while we lived in Turkey.
I have a papillon that howls like a blood hound as wells as yaps, and our macaw barks when he's bored. He sounds like a big dog, and it freaks me out because both our dogs are small and relatively yappy.

Our oldest cat never meowed until we brought home two more cats. He was the only cat for nine years and we had come to the conclusion that his "meower" was broken. Then when the two other cats arrived, he started to meow this most pitiful, weak meow. Its like the other two cats showed him what a cat was suppose to do but his vocal cords where too weak from lack of use.

I think it's just the cat....
I have two cats - One MEOWS loudly and incessantly, the other one makes a kind of clicking noise. kind of Ah Ah Ah Ah The only time I hear actually noise coming out of his mouth is when the dog walks by and he growls at him. By the way, it's very funny to see my little cat chasing my big ol' dog around. I know it wasn't your question, but I just think it's funny.

Your cat acts more beneficial like a canines. Its barking. think ofyou've got to coach him. search for a breeder of Siberians on your area, they may well be in a position to respond to your questions. there's a yahoo crew for this breed which may be discovered through having access to the decrease than link

Do all members of your family have the same sounding voice?
No.
So why should your non-human family members?
Like all individuals, individual cats have their own individual voices.
Enjoy your feline family members' distinctive voices.
My dog who has grown up with cats makes a contented little noise when I am giving him massages and cuddles. I make purring noises at him when I'm cuddling him, and he makes soft throaty noises in return. Oh, and my dog also eats catnip.
