Independent adult
not considered a minor anymore
Bad
College
Moving out
Money
You get older and nothing changes
And oh. yeah you're considered an adult

The good news is you're an adult and can gamble, smoke, do whatever. The bad news is that usually at 18 a lot of people are still living with their parents so even though you may "legally" be an adult, you still follow your parents rules as long as you're living under their roof. It makes you feel like your age is meaningless and they still treat you like you're a child. So in that sense I never felt like being 18 was different, to my parents it was just a number and was meaningless. It was only when I went away to college that I felt older because I was away from home

There is nothing bad about being 18. A lot of good things are you are young and have a full life ahead of you. And you just met me ha ha .

well
-you can drive
-order things off the tv
-your parents can no longer tell you what to do..unless u live with them
-you can vote
-you can buy ciggs
-your legally an adult
- and i'm sure there's more but i can't thinkof it right now..lol
the only bad i can think of at the moment is that if u commit a crime your be charged as an adult

The Good: You are an adult and now you can do adult things.
The Bad: Even though you are an adult you are really not considered one until you turn 21.

You are held liable as an adult if you commit a crime.
You are REALLY close to graduating High School.

you think your an adult
but later you realize you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about life
and will make many mistakes and errors that will affect you life in more ways than one, you level of maturity ( or usually lack there of ) will be key in deciding the rest of your life
