Well, I've owned cats for 47 years, counting when I was a baby. (My folks had one before they had me.)

I don't think there is a majority of right OR left-pawdness, but each cat does have a preference. Use a fishing pole-type toy with feathers or something, dangle it front and center on the cat, and see which paw he uses the most. Watch the cat when he's "on the prowl", see which paw he uses to explore hidden areas with. When chasing a ball, which paw does he mostly use?

I'm not sure how to do this, does it matter or is it just something you want to know? I suppose you can watch to see which hand he normally swats with etc but I've never really thought about it.
