In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Of course Satan exists. That doesn't make him a high power. God created him as Lucifer the angel of light. He developed a serious case of jealousy and pride and fell from grace and was renamed Satan (the father of lies). He's nothing but a pitiful fallen angel - even he believes in God - it doesn't mean he's greater than God although he likes to think so.
That's the story according to scripture.

in the mind of millions of people yes ,and that is almost enough to say that he exist at least for them ,
Satan, the devils ,demons ,gargoyles ,dragons and mythecal serpants were almost all based on the Anunaki
the reptilian Alien race that most likely created humans as slaves to mine gold for them ,
they can be found at the base of all religions and civilizations all over the globe and they are /were real
one of their main basis was Semuria.
ancient central Americans ,Africans ,Indian myths .all talk about them.
the god Allah or Jehova that a lot of people follow ,was Anunaki,so were the gods who fathered the Nephilim in Genesis, the religions were continued by their descendends the illuminati .to keep humanity enslaved and under control to this day
the serpant in the garden of Eden ,a symbolic story to represent the creation of the Adam slave race ,was the only good Anunaki called Enki who wanted humanity free and independent ,the Evil ones in control made him look Evil instead ,and they are still controlling the minds of people like you now .
the only true Gods and the closest are Ra ,Isis Baal and we live on Gaia ,without them there would be no planet ,no life ,no food ,no nothing
the exstraterestrial yuo adore has nothing concrete that he can account for ,only wars ,and hate ,grand theft, and seperation of humanity ,whilst preaching love and compassion,
Apart from that your religion is very new ,a death cult barely 6000 years old
read some real philosiphy by Thoth ,from 36.000 years ago ,he even talks about the implanteble micro chips of today

Satan isn't a high power. Satan is a spirit, an evil spirit that exists in many humans and animals. He isn't a red man with horns as most would imagine.

All you need to do is to take a look around, and you'll KNOW that satan exists. For now, he does. But one glorious day he'll go down into the shaft of the abyss and he'll be doing the backstroke forever in the Lake of Burning Sulfur.

The Bible records conversations that both God and Jesus had with Satan. And then, there is the fact that we really do have the "WOE" that was promised for the earth when Jesus threw him out of heaven and down to the earth. That is enough proof for me that he exists.

Well, to hear some Christians, you would think Satan was As or even MORE powerful than their God!
He has the upper hand in the soul game, people are 'born' into sin and are of 'sinful' nature, therefore, doomed to fail just about.
Most people will go to hell, so says the bible.
And Satan has reign over earth and even can 'tempt' and influence people.
He gets his his spiritual pad in hell and it's all part of an elaborate soul game.

The Universe compels itself to move onward, God..... well.... the thing is.... I don't think that he even exists, and if he does, he's stripping me down to nothing but a pitiful piece of meat, feasted on those around me because I did something terribly wrong.
