Instead of dying a bit each day, why not spend your life living a lot each day! I don't fear death itself, I think I fear how I will die. If you let death loom over you everyday, you will have a miserable, negative existense. Instead realize that this is your one shot at this life so live it to the fullest! Each stage of our lives brings new discoveries and new lessons. While you may not be as strong or be able to run as fast one day, you will have a wealth of knowledge and memories & those are stregnths in their own way. And at some point in our lives, we have to learn to accept help when we need it. For some it happens earlier than others. I am only 33 and already disabled, so you don't have to be old for your body to slow down. Live each day as it comes. The past is gone & the future isn't here yet so get through this day.

“The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating...
...and you finish off as an orgasm.” --- May be this is the way u wanted to die .......... This is a quote by george carlin .....

Our lives are like the seasons....birth represents Spring, Summer we are in the heat and passion of teens to around 40 or so, In the Fall everything literally begins to fall or fail, hair, teeth, mind, etc. Then when we are in the closing scenes it is Winter, beautiful but not always easy. I have met very few people that would ever want to go back. Two days before my Grandma passed she came out very excited and told us the Holy Spirit had shown her that she had only two more days to finish up. Normally I didn't bathe her as she had a bath lady that came in and did that. This particular morning I bathed her and rubbed her down with oil. She said, "Mmmm that feels so good". A little while later she was under stress and she asked me to open the window a little wider and then said something I couldn't quite hear. I bent down and asked her what she said and she gave me a big beautiful smile that lit up the whole room and said, "nighty night". I wheeled my Mom in who had Lou Gehrig's disease and she held her Mom's hand and told her, "Everything is alright Momma, this is the time you've been waiting for. Nighty night Momma, I will meet you at the Resurrection:. And Grandma was gone. A year later my Mom died of Lou Gehrig's. The last three weeks before she passed it was very hard to understand her speech. The last night and morning God gave her the ability to speak very clearly. The thing that stands out the most of what she said in a voice that was almost not her own was, "Don't be afraid". I told her nighty night Momma, I'll meet you at the Resurrection. The Pastor anointed her with oil as we joined hands around her and prayed. Her final word was "Amen". It was a very beautiful time in a way wasn't it. I want to tell you, don't dwell on it but live every day to the fullest. Death comes to all so live your best and remember things you give to people will be forgotten, what remains is the love, wisdom and compassion you share with others. God bless you and keep looking up...

Hello GAP. Every stage of your life has a beautiful thing to offer. When you are a kid you play. When you are a teenager you go out. When you are 30 you get married. Then you have kids. When you get older you have grandsons which you can enjoy. I now everyday we become older, however you have to enjoy this stage with your grandchildren. We are all going to die, and then we enter a new stage (we do not know what it is) maybe we go to heaven, maybe we reincarnate. We should not be afraid of death. Death is the beginning of a new life. No, I believe we came from Heaven to this earth to be tested to see if we will choose good or evil, and after we die we will go back and be with our Heavenly Father and with the people we love that have passed before us. But we should make the best of our time while we are here.

I have a suggestion for you.. why don't read the book 'Purpose Driven Life' by Rick Warren.. trust me you will learn alot from that book and you will know what is your purpose here on Earth.. after reading you will realize that there's nothing to be afraid of about dying as long as you accept Jesus in your life..
Good luck and God bless!!

I think everyone, and everyday is different. I mean someone who believes in god probably would be less afraid than someone who thinks we just rot. And someone in good health might be less afraid than someone with terminal cancer. And one day someone won't be afraid then they see their friend of a relative die, later that same day they might change their mind about it.

with a personal relationship with Jesus, we should not fear the final result of death. Jesus paid the price, so that we will be forgiven and have the opportunity to live with Him in Heaven.
to fear the pain of aging as well as the pain of a slow death is only natural for our fleshly existance. when these fears appear, we need not let them dwell. we need to turn them over to Christ.

don't worry. just live life to the fullest! it takes too much time out of our lifes to worry about die when we could die in 5 min, or tonight, or in 70 years. tell the people you love you love them, make friends with your enemys, give all you got in what you do, and fall in love. one at a time, day by day, you only have one chance, so make it worth it.

You should not, after all we are all going there. No person is exempted from death. The when and how is beyond our control. Everyone has a purpose, use your life wisely and accordingly.
