for valentines i was hoping for my sort of boyfriend to get me something and he didnt...(he's my "sort of" boyfriend because we went out for a year and now we are back together and have been on good terms for over 4 months now but he hasnt asked me out or anything..weird)
i felt kinda bad about it. i had my card and candy to give to him with me incase he got me something and well, yeah i ended up just bringing it home....
its just last year we went out and he got me candy and a stuffed animal and a card and everything.
it's not even the stuff that actually matters its just the thought of someone saying happy valentines day and giving me a hug.
i just wanted some recognition or appreciation. i dont know. is that so wrong?
well, some other guy gave me a valentines day card.
my "boyfriends" best friend found out about it.
do you think he will tell my "boyfriend" or just keep it to himself?

Why do people get caught up with no one aknowledged me today of all days. Do groups of people forget that not everyones agenda is not the same? If it meant so much you should of made objections then, he would of known how you felt then not now. You should of gave what you got him. the art of gift giving is to not expect in return. More than likely after giving your gift he might of said "I feel bad I didn't get you something" that is just as good as the gift.

he's not your 'boyfriend' so who cares. Really, you can't expect anything from him he's not your boyfriend. If another guy got you something be happy you just said that's what you wanted

About his friend telling him, if you think that he would tell him and that this guy would care tell him yourself.
By the way you got something last year because you were actually together

I dont' think he will care. First you need to talk to him. are you boyfriend and girlfriend, are you dating other people, it's time you set what's your relationship first.
He may not be into you as much as you are to him. But first see where you stand and then move on or be committed. Good luck.

will maybe his in the middle of something that he couldn't spend money or maybe his broke that time that's why he didn't buy you anything and his shy to show up or ask you out coz he dosn't have enough money spend with you. or maybe he just want to skip that occasion this year maybe next year he got more and lot's of plan for you so just understand him.

you should try to move on. you have already given this guy 16 months of your life. as soon as you show him that you have other interests, he'll come running... just watch and see!
