Pay will vary with the job, your experience and your location. For example, California will pay more than the southeast.

A 20 year project manager will make more than a 5 year guy.

If you are working outside your home country then you will be paid additionally dependant on which country and city you are in - it's called your local coefficient or local country uplift.
This amount is calculated from data recieved from other expats in that area - standard of living, housing cost, food cost etc. etc.
probably the same if you are living in different areas of the USA.
