You forgot a few 19 and 10 got penalized too, and they still credited Jeff Gordon with the win anyhow, I just dont understand why he has to go back to the back of the field, I mean he qualified 7th, and he won the duels so he got bumped up to 4th, and yet for a rule that he had nothing to do with he has to start in the back? I am a Hendricks fan and I hate Kenseth and I love Jeff Gordon but I think he shoudl start 7th because the 4th should get disqualified because of the violation not his actual qualifying run but whatever he will still come up and win this thing. I have faith in him. So I also have a question how could his car pass inspection before the race and not after, I mean they only had 2 pitstops, and the last one they only took right side tires, but then some websites say 4, but seriously I mean when they told Jeff Gordon he was so shocked and mad and upset all in one I seriously thought he was like almost crying or sweating I couldnt tell but he was really upset. I dont think that you can raise or lower your car that much in that amount of time, so maybe the pre race official looked it over? If they would of seen it maybe then they could of fixed it and still won the race and still start 4th. Oh well he is a very talented driver and he will have a great finish.

The Evernham's boys Elliott Sadler, Scott Riggs and Kasey Kahne did not do not that on every suspension. Jeff Gordon made it on Gatorade 2 while his wife Ingrid was pregnant with a beautiful baby girl. Kenseth and Waltrip were mad.

Obviously they don't pick certain guys to bust cheating. That's ridiculous. They wouldn't just randomly choose sadler, riggs, etc.
Those are the teams that cheated and let's just move on. Everyone cheats, but some people are dumb enough to try stuff now that nascar is getting more strict. I think the teams deserve to get busted and it'll keep other drivers for doing it.
Another misunderstanding is that most people accuse the driver as cheating but most of the time the driver doesn't even know anything about ti.

All I can say is WOW!!! Gordon is my number one guy and all I have to say is if that 1 inch was really making a difference, wouldnt he have been able to do much more than he did... I mean he won because David gave him a hell of a push! haha...
Either way I feel bad for all of them.... Mikey more than anyone, I really dont think Mikey had any idea... I was pissed when I first heard about him cheating, but the more I think about it, I just cant see Mikey doing that... As far as the other guys, who knows if they ment to do that or not...
Now there will be a huge bashing of Gordon! lol I cant wait for all of the bashers to come out of the woodwork now... Maybe I should stay out of these yahoo answer rooms just for that! lol
GO 24!

I surport all but Jeff. Kasey and Matt are two of my fav. drivers. Scott and Elliott are drivers i root for. I like him when times are good and that are bad. Like now they need it right now. Micheal I also like. If you where a fan of any of these drives and is not anymore then you are not true fans.

I AM NOT a Gordon fan, yet. His car was technically illegal even though it was human error. Nascar holds the wrenches to very high standards. We are going to have a very interesting race on sunday when these guys line up and blow buy everyone. I belive one of these our a potential winner. But I will be cheering for #17 .Go Matt!!!!

I heard that Kenseth's hairpiece failed post race inspection. It was about an inch too low. Robbie Reiser was quoted as saying "It's the same piece he wore all last year!" Roush Racing has stated they are standing behind the hairpiece 100 percent.

We probably don't have to mention Gordon, most people understand it was unintentional
But for the others, don't worry, I don't blame it on the drivers, the crews just got caught.

I definately support the number 17 car. I mean, look at his season last year! Never once in the past has he been accused of cheating. For petes sake, he almost won the points championship last year!!
