What is he really thinking.?

Question

My boyfriend say i have pride cause i won't get on welfare as a single person he gets it cause he has a low paying job. We had a fight and he went to jail we reconcil. He got mad cause I did not go into a shelter he felt I had to much pride by not doing so.

while he was in jail I stayed in a hostel & I am still until an apartment comes thru. He has a problem with me spending money & say I'm living above my means & I should stay in a shelter until I get on my feet & save money. But when we were together he ue to say I would end up in a shelter. Cause of that I never went into one.

I work doing audience work which you clap your hands at tv shows I made one week $700 while he was in jail and he makes that in a month? Is he jealsous of me?

The work is about 3 times a week. i feel like he wants to feel good about him still living in his place & me living in a shelter. Like he wants me to feel or think I'm inferior.

I can work & don't want welfare. Why is he playing mind games?

If you can answer a simple question, I will keep my mouth shut and you can forget all about this answer.

The question is: If you are making roughly $2800 per month and he only makes about $700, why do you feel that he HAS to be the one and only one you are seeing?

If I were making that kind of money, I would have enough sense to go to someplace like a city housing authority or county housing. You might not get an apartment in a week or so, but they do have lists that will show you who has apartments available and how much the apartments are are rented for.

Just start getting hold of some of those places and then see if your current landlords might let you break your lease. If I were you, I would get the h**l out of there as fast as I could and make sure that he doesn't find out where you moved to.

do what you gotta do to support yourself... if he has a problem with it then screw him he's not right for you anyways.
