I'm reallly shy and I thought I could never get a guy... so while I was on Myspace over a year ago I talked to this guy who lived about 15minutes away from me... we ended up meeting one night after I got off work and my friend and I went there (I didn't want to go alone even though we were meeting him at a public place) and we got there and I was REALLY shy and didn't know what to say... but we talked a bit... we left... later that night he asked me out!!! I was so happy because I finally got a boyfriend (well, he was my third boyfriend, but it lasted longer than the last one and my first boyfriend I met him through a friend, so that was in person) So we lasted on and off for a year in a half... he ended up being a real jerk (not going into details though)
But yeah, I'd try online dating. Maybe like mate1.com (if you're 18 and older though) That's how most of those sites go... but since I'm already almost 18, I'm on that site in particular and just tell the guys I talk to that I'll be 18 in a month.

Relax and let the guys do the chasing. To get over your shyness, just spend more time around guys, even if only as friendly get-togethers. The shyness will eventually wear off.

sometimes if you have friends that are complete opposite they can help get you out of your shell go out to some clubs if your old enough or school dances if that is your scene have fun w/ girlfriends guys notice girls in packs than the wall flower.good guys will like your shyness .so get dressed up go have fun and be safe . it will happen i promise!

Be shy is who you are. You shouldn't want to change just so you will get a guy. The right one will come along. Be patient.

first be more socialable to overcome your shyness. than after u feel confident u can flirt with more guyz.

you can start by internet dating. it's a saving grace for girls. on the net it's ok for a girl to initiate while it may not be in person.
