1. Booyah

an exclamatory statement, often said when someone is extremely overjoyed. Often people do a hand movement simultaneously as they say 'Booyah'(clinching fist and thrusting their elbow downward vertically)

I got an A on my chem final. Booyah!


2. Booyah

Used in order to abruptly express great joy, usually brought on by victory or some other sort of accomplishment.

excellent, usually used as an interjection; also used to show affirmation

It's an emotional expression that adds emphasis to a point. It's like an exclamation point. It imitates the sound of a shotgun.
