A friend rented a car while visiting in AZ (we are both from different states). I was driving it, and apparently was speeding. She got a photo speeding ticket. She can say she was not the driver, but I wasn't listed as a driver on the rental car. Will this be shared with my home state and get on my record? What can I do to get it dismissed. I live out of state and can't appear in court.

First of all, you have no association with the ticket whatsoever, just your face, they can't find you and can't report you to anyone. It's your friend who's facing the ticket problem.

All your friend has to do is send a photocopy of her driver's license along with the citation to the court that issued the ticket, her picture proves she was not the driver. There are instructions for that on the ticket.

My sister's gotten two photo radar tickets and her car is registered to our mom. Our mom just sent in a copy of her license and that was it, gone.

dont pay it, you'll end up having a warrent in AZ but they wont hunt you down if your in another state, just dont go back for 5-7 years, not sure how long they clear for traffic warrants, or just pay the fine
