and why also i think if ur in america u should only speak english

You now have to have a passport to go into Mexico, to even cross their borders...yet they are allowed over here to steal Americans' jobs? The borders should have been closed a long time ago.
No new ideas? There's this new thing called the internet. Tell us your ideas from your own country.

I think USA's borders should be carefully monitored, but not closed. Imagine all the things we would do with out if we did.
As far as English goes, it is our official language. Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and many other important documents were written in English. English is the primary language that is learned in our schools. It would save a lot of confusion here if we just all held to the same language.
Think about it. We'd have to have another 5 years of schools just to learn all the major languages we come in contact with. You tell the children that, and I'm certain they'll be a riot. Not to mention the parents that were looking forward to the time off.

I think that more languages are good, people also speak french, and no one looks down on them....I think English should be the main language, but others should not be banned

No and Yes. This country was created by people who were on the other side of the "borders" one border being the Atlantic Ocean, why shut out the tired and poor now? Yes. I do think if you are in America the native language is English. Please learn it and speak it when you get here.

Not me.
Closed borders = no foreign trade, no international students at our universities, no foreign travel, no involvement with other countries, and most importantly, no new ideas.
Oh, you were just thinking about illegal immigrants, weren't you?
As for language, do you think all of your ancestors spoke English as a first language? haha!
English is not the official language of the United States. There is no official language in the US.

Not just the Americans, Canada to, I'm for closing our boarders we will survive just fine.
