First of all, if you don't know how to write you don't know how to speak. So, it's necessary to know the correct English Grammar, you must know the difference of what's right or wrong, you need to know how to write, so that you can feel at ease to speak this language too.

A good idea should be an English course to improve your language skills and your "pronunciation".
And some nice tips are:
You can watch north-american/ english movies and listen to English songs but carefully 'cause they do not contain the correct language.
You can also make friendship with native speakers of English in person or online but take care with north-american typing in chat rooms 'cause nobody write correctly in the Internet.

These tips are just for you to practice but the unique place you can learn the correct grammar and pronunciation is in a good English school.

And please try to avoid writting in an Internet way 'cause it's totally wrong .... and you can get used to speak like that too.

Hi...

Practice makes perfect... try hanging out with a bunch of American friends all the time... it really helps...

When I lived in the Middle East, I use to hang out with some Arab friends that were good at English, but had a heavy accent and didn't always understand what me or my husband was saying... they said we spoke too fast and used words they didn't know.

Since we had just moved there and didn't know Arabic, our new friends spoke to us in English. And because they were very polite, they rarely spoke to each other in Arabic while hanging around us.

We hung out almost every night, watching movies or talking over shisha and coffee, whatever.

Within a year, our friends had picked up on our pronounciation and vocabulary (including a lot of slang) and lost their accent when they spoke in English. If you heard them speak now, you would think they had lived in America for a number of years.

I hope this helps.. I'm sure you can do it.

Best Wishes...
T.

The Original Americans were Native Americans and none of them spoke English. If you want to speak English like a Native American you can live on a Reservation or attend a lot of Pow-Wows.

well basically you just have to practise, always try and speak in english even to yourself at home with friends, and its also important that you read english books some grammar books will be of help. and if you want to speak like an american than watch some american movies and soapes just to get hang of their accent and you will master it after some time. But i dont get why you want to have an accent like an american the important thing is that you are able to speak and understand the main medium of exchange or instruction which is english.

You could get a speech tutor to help you with pronunciation, but you will always have an accent. Studies show that if you move to America after your 9th Birthday, you will always have an accent. You can always work on pronunciation though. You can get better in that area, but the accent will never leave. I think an accent is hot though, so that's a good thing!!!! Good luck.

Lol, no such thing, friend. If you would have had a person from New York, talk to a person from Texas, you'd swear they were from two different countries. Don't worry about your pronunciation. ( or my spelling for that matter).

Be more concerned about what you say, rather than how you say it. We're used to multi-cultural chat, so chat it up :)

best wishes.

Many people I know say they learned how by watching and LISTENING to television programs. Especially with captions on most progarms, it's a free lesson in English. However, be patient with yourself because this won't happen ovenight.

Just keep practicing. Also, when Americans try to speak your native language, listen to their accent. They way they try to pronounce words in your language is the way they know how to pronounce them in English. Keep those sounds in mind and you'll do just fine!
