What's the best way to hydrate before/after partying?

I find myself being extremely thirsty the next day. I always drink a lot of water before and after but I still feel thirsty. I usually have 8 beers or so in a 4hr period.

After party... 1 ounce soy sauce (for the salt) & a glass of water.

Hydration = Water. Simple as that. Alcohol dehydrates you.The only thing that is going to take care of your thirst is lots of water. Either that or don't drink, which I don't see happening. Have one glass of water for every beer you drink, which means you won't get drunk as fast either. Drink a lot before, a lot after, and a lot during.

Alcohol replaces water in your organism, so there is no way out of it. If you drink alcohol - you will be thirsty. In my drinking years I used to drink a beer or pickle brine the next morning. Takes care of thirst right away. ;)

Powerade or gatorade man, it works wonders because it has all the vitamins and energy boosting affects. i find that to be the best thing to have on the morning after a night of heavy drinking, very good for hangovers also.

Alcohol is what makes all the water leave Your body. regular water doesn't get rid of alcohol very fats, there are 2 ways of making thirst go away. number 1 is to mix cold water with lemon juice and drink sour or make and ice tea and add lemon juice there, iether way vitamin c helps flush away alcohol faster plus it rtastes good.
